Hello, I would like to place an order for 250 boxes of drionking straws. the delivery date is very important, as we need them within 15 days. I saw the price list on your website, but I was wondering if you offer a discount for ordering in bulk. Thank you for your prompt attention.

Bullet points

Business English can be very indirect in comparison to other languages and cultures. We rarely say something like "I want" or "Give me." Instead, we tend to use a lot of indirect questions and other polite language forms to explain what we want.

Direct :

I want 50 laptops

Indirect:

Could you give me 50 laptops?Could we order 50 laptops?Would it be possible to order 50 laptops?I would like 50 laptops. It would be great if you could send us 50 laptops. We are in need of 50 laptops.
